Nailstone Community Group
Nailstone Community Group (NCG) was founded by a group of parishioners in 2017 with the aim of knowing your neighbours and to organise events in the village and bringing people together as part of the larger community.
About the Group
The Group aims to promote, support and benefit the wellbeing of the community living in the parish of Nailstone by organising events and working with other groups as requested including Parish Council, the Church and the Women’s Institute. NCG supports the formation and development of special interest groups such as a Book Group, History Group and Gardening Group plus the yearly Village Show event group. Some of the events that NCG runs may be run regularly such as the Christmas events in December. Other events may respond to those being run nationally.
All residents of Nailstone parish are, by default, members of NCG, and are very welcome to attend monthly meetings as and when they can and it is possible to ‘dip in and out’ according to what is being organised. Event suggestions are welcome. NCG is run by a group of volunteers. The Group has a Constitution. Copies of the Minutes and Agenda for the next meeting are sent out via email on request and are also uploaded to the Nailstone Community Group Facebook page

We produce a ‘Welcome to Nailstone’ leaflet for new residents which explains what goes on in the village and also gives a guide to local services. If you would like a copy or know someone who would please email the Secretary.
