D-Day 80 Celebration

Watch a brief overview of the event commemorating the D-Day 80. Hosted at the village church on 6th June 2024 and organised by the History group this event featured guest speaker John Matthews with a talk about the history of the Gopsall Park, Kathleen Elkin with stories of parishioners from the war times, D-Day Daisies, a singing group formed by ladies especially for this event, displays of items from the war and stories of locals remembering those days.
